Plot: Industrialist Lombardi is kidnapped by some mobsters disguised as financial police officers. Captain Murri investigates the case, immediately realizing it's a conspiracy with terrorist undertones. He presents his opinion to Senator Leandri, who is actually involved in the criminal organization. Leandri tries to have him transferred to Brennero with a promotion and pay raise to prevent the investigation from continuing. This doesn't happen thanks to the minister, who holds Murri in high regard. However, when Laura, the captain's girlfriend, is killed, he changes his approach, killing all members of the organization and also obtaining a written confession from Leandri. But the conclusion is bitter when Murri discovers that his best friend is the mastermind behind everything.
